channel-e information in an electronic age.
The original Footpath Condition Survey application was written for the Pennine Way Co-ordination Project. They wanted a way to survey the trail and capture the results in an electronic form. I wrote this application to meet that requirement. It was widely used between 1994 and 1999. In spring 1998, Ranger Magazine printed an article about it.
The application is a typical Psion application. It shows as an icon on the system display. When run all options are selected from the main menu.
Documentation is available online.
Development stopped on this application in 1999. Production of the Psion range of handhelds ceased sometime after this.
